Firstly, Happy Belated Birthday to Ms Loh Wan Shan & Lin DanFeng.

Alrights,
Holidays had already started, and our normal practices resumes. Most of us got back our results, regardless of good or bad, it's history. No point dwelling over split milk. I suppose everyone has got the holiday band schedules already. If not, please ask your SectionLeaders or BandMajor(s) for a copy. And, please inform the BandMajor(s) AND teachers if you're going to miss any practices during the holidays due or Holiday Vacation Overseas, Leadership Training camp, Sick w/ Medical Certificate from doctors or any other Valid Reasons. It is important to notify your SectionLeaders too. It's been a long time since we play our instruments ever since CCA standdown due to examinations, and perhaps many of us turned 'rusty' as we're all busy mugging for examinations. Andand, Step up on your drills skills. We're trying our best to get into SYF next year, and drills is Important. So, do try your best to practise harddderrr okay, bandmates? (:

Next shall be a reminder for all of us. Remember what Mr Lim wants us to practise on thurs? ( The exercise on Symphonic Band Technique &. Tone and Technique ) Please do remember to practise hard as Mr Lim wants to test/see/hear next week. All the best peepos! 8D

IGNITED!
A combined concert of Hougang, Regent and Shuqun Band.

At Victoria Concert Hall
Date: 20th November 2008, Thursday.
Time: 7.30pm
Tickets: $10

Do support your friends from other school, as they are our ally bands. Everyone is encouraged to go. It will be fun if the whole band goes together. Sec 1's should go for your first concert, when you're in sec 1. 20 November is not a long way to go, so start saving. Sl's should lead by example.

Also, Band resumes on 22/10(Wednesday). Members should be ready to play their instruments. Start practicing your instruments and prepare for the Etude challenge. Standard has definitely dropped during exam period, so have to put in more effort now.
