Well today was the last practice for the year.
Please reflect on everything and lets not try to make those mistakes again.
Details for 3rd January 2008[Thursday]:
Reporting Time: 1430
Reporting Attire: PE T-Shirt.
Reporting Venue: Band Room
Band Practice as Usual
Details 4th January 2008[Friday]:
Reporting Time: 1330
Reporting Attire: School Uniform
Reporting Venue: Band Room
Please after school take your lunch and rest.Please be smart and do not fool around.
Black band tee bring along in your bag.Do NOT need to bring black shoes.
We will be wearing white shoes, WITH WHITE AND ABOVE ANKLE-LENGTH SOCKS.
We will be performing at night, around 8pm.
Dinner should be provided,I will try to make sure it is.
After everything,we will pack up.Please be smart and work faster.I expect all guys to be helping out with percussion.Please also bring up stands and files,do not leave them lying around.Chairs would not be our problem on the day.
If you play well,you would not have to listen to things you don't want to.And then you will go back earlier and everyone would be happy.

Please also respect alumni who take time from from their busy schedule.They come for YOU and you disappoint them.Why?Just listen to them!!!!

DIL SE
Hey guys! It was a WONDERFUL concert!
But we could not have done it without every single one of us's commitment, dedication and sacrifice, which includes every single one from the members to the school staff.
You all put in alot of heart work.And you got your fruits of labour!
[Yes,heart,like DIL SE?Get it?]
I will get as many photos I can to post them.
I will also be making a blog for DIL SE.Yes,I know it should have been done when the concert was announced in stead of now when the concert has ended right?Ironic.
Well,better late than never.Thats why,I want to collect as many photos as possible from both sides since the first day we had practice together,even if you "illegally" took pictures during combine or sectionals,or when you guys had meals or went out together.Everything that shows you bonded.
Please spread the message.The blog will show our progress from the first moment we heard about the concert to the moment we heard the audience applause last night.
It will include EVERYONE's name,including players,conductors,teachers,alumni,principals,tutors,emcees and even school attendants who sacrificed time to open school facilities at difficult times.
And if possible,someone please find a good skin that is suitable,and remember to think about the minority gender too,because there were really alot of guys playing a part in the concert too!
You can tell me about the skin.
The camp photos will also be posted here[and there].I took some pics,especially during the mini amazing race.
Well,we have come this far together.We now know each other better,we have made more friends,we have learned so much.But this is not the end,its never the end.
Lets continue to grow!

Hey everyone. I'll edit this post for photos of the camp and DIL SE when i get the photos alright =) Sorry for the delay ya.
Anyway, Great job band! It was indeed a job well done. Once again, i'm proud to be performing on the same stage as every single one of you. Our efforts are indeed not wasted.

Back from camp
Hey!
How was camp? Was tiring wasn't it?
But I am sure we all improved and definitely got motivated to do better with all the support from the alumni and tutors.
Some negative things happened in the camp,but lets just forget them and stay focused.
DIL SE is in 2 days.
Tomorrow we all go for rehearsal and sound check.No more time to practice.
Reporting time is 11,but you are expecting to come around 10 45.
You can wear either any of your band tees [black,yellow or seniors if you have the white one], your PE shirt or your school uniform.
Those who went to leadership camps through band like Tetra, NCO and LTC, you can wear your Tetra, NCO or Councilor shirt respectively.
Reason is simply because some's clothes are dry while others are not.The clothes I mentioned above have some things to do with band in one way or another.No any other shirts.I think its is lenient enough that you guys get to wear such a rainbow of attire.
This is because tomorrow, you will all be given the Dil Se shirt.It is a form of souvenir for all those who are performing for the concert.
Lunch will be provided, and when and where it is,please eat properly.If you need more,please ask.If you really cant eat, don't force yourself.
Breakfast and dinner will NOT be provided.Please arrange for them.
EAT and REST well.
Just a brief, tomorrow we will report and get our shirts. Then we have lunch and upload instruments.We get there,rehearse everything,pack up come back.
After that,I would like everyone to go home,eat and rest.Please be smart and do not go around shopping or whatever,we do not want anything happening to anyone, especially at such a crucial time.
Please also bring along your white shirt,black pants and court shoes tomorrow.Make sure your clothes are ironed, we must look presentable.You can keep them in the band room.If possible,hang them in a hanger and cover with the plastic thing because it will be neater and will not get dirty.You know the state of the band room yourself right?[Don't worry,we have things to do after concert.]
The day after tomorrow is the big day itself.You know for yourself how much effort you have put in.Please do not let it all go to waste.

I don't know about the counter,but according to how i count,it's 12 days left to Dil Se. Everyone,how's your preparation coming along?
In these few days,please take lots of care for your health, Dil Se will commence in the blink of an eye. It's time to start our really intensive training for Dilse. Let's all do our best.
Please do come with breakfast in the morning :) Sleep early and wake up early. We need everyone's effort here ya! JIAYOU!
